Three Mile Lake Barnacle Newsletter for Spring 2019...

On Friday, August 17, 2018, the North Bay / Parry Sound Health Unit made notice that Three Mile Lake (Katrine, Armour Township) had tested positive for the blue-green algae which can cause a toxic algae bloom.  Although we have not had a toxic bloom to this point, it is imperative that our lake residents take the precautions listed in the Health Unit notice.  This notice is posted at the boat launch, posted on our Facebook group, and has been delivered door to door by the TMLCC.  It is also copied here for your reference...
